Food Producers

The Southern Farmers Market provides the local community and visitors with access to local seasonal produce and incredible food stalls.

We are always looking to invite and support new producers, particularly local fruit and vegetables.  These are the foundation of our pillars - to support sustainable food systems and community connections around kai in Murihiku.  We know how challenging producing food can be, and we have created a community of entrepreneurs who support each other to be successful.  We like to think of ourselves as a food incubation and validation hub!

Our market ebbs and sways to the supply from our Southland region.  Our busiest months are spring and summer, however autumn and winter continue to provide locals with a fabulous venue to meet and enjoy quality time with whānau and friends.

Coming to visit our market to see how your idea fits, or to talk to other producers is always a great idea before applying.

Please note, we are unable to process your application without photos, you’ll be prompted to send these through to southernfarmersmarket@hotmail.com
